How do I use Irfanview to post a photo from My Pictures to use as an avatar?

Hi,
How do I post a photo from My Pictures? I want to use one of the pictures in the My Pictures folder as an avatar. How do I do this step by step please? I read the Irfanview tutorial and I was doing well but I lost you Lorraine when you mentioned making screen shots and also I forgot about resizing and I don't know how to upload a photo on this forum. Help please! My photo is in Irfanview right now.

Hi Jeannie,

To place an image here as your avatar, click up top here on the 'Profile' link, then on the left side of the page look for the "Forum Profile Information" link.
There select the radio button for "I will upload my own picture:", then you navigate your computer, to where ever you have the pictured located you wish to use as your avatar.

That should do it, if not, holler back
